FEATURE: Year of the Rooster

INGREDIENTS

  • 1.5 ounce ginger beer
  • 2 tablespoons Grenadine 
  • 4.5 ounces Momokawa Ruby
  • 1 Lime wedge

PREPARATION
Combine Momokawa Ruby, syrup and ginger beer in pint glass. Fill with ice and stir. Garnish with lime wedge and serve.

Momojito Diamond

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 ounce fresh lime juice
  • 2 teaspoons superfine sugar
  • 1 cup crushed ice
  • 10 fresh mint leaves, set aside a few sprigs for garnish
  • 3 ounces Momokawa Diamond 
  • 1 ounce club soda

PREPARATION
In highball glass, stir sugar into lime juice until it dissolves. Add 1/4 cup ice. Tear mint leaves in half and add to mixture. Gently stir for 15-20 seconds. Add Momokawa Diamond, remaining crushed ice, and club soda. Stir once more for a few seconds before garnishing with mint sprigs. insert straw and enjoy!


Citrus Ruby Cosmo

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 ounce blood orange juice
  • 1 ounce lime juice
  • 3 ounces cranberry juice
  • 1 teaspoon superfine sugar
  • 3 ounces Momokawa Ruby
  • 1 ounce Triple Sec

PREPARATION
In cocktail shaker, swirl sugar into blood orange, lime and cranberry juice until it dissolves. Add ice and Momokawa Ruby and shake. Sugar rim a chilled cocktail glass and strain liquid into glass. Pour Triple Sec into center, garnish with orange twist and enjoy!


Infused Sake Mule

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 ounces cucumber and mint infused Momokawa Silver
  • 1 ounce ginger beer
  • 1 lime wedge 
  • 1 orange wedge
  • 1 mint sprig for garnish
  • Triple Sec or citrus vodka for infusion (optional)

INFUSED SAKE BATCH PREPARATION
For every one bottle of Momokawa Silver saké, slice 1/3 cucumber into spears with peel on. Tear 8-10 large mint leaves from large sprig, keep top for garnish. Add 1 cup Triple Sec or citrus vodka. Combine ingredients and let sit for one day in refrigerated environment.

COCKTAIL PREPARATION
In copper mug or highball, fill to 3/4 full with ice. Squeeze lime and orange wedge over ice and drop remainder of fruit on top. Add infused Momokawa Silver saké, stir. Top with ginger beer and add mint sprig for garnish. Enjoy!
